EURO 2016 Betting tips Wed 15 June: Can Romania beat the Swiss?

Hungary win and Iceland draw vs Portugal were great for the Euro 2016 but we are crying as we did not pick them. Tonight we are ready to get back to winning ways with teams ready to book their place in the knockout stages.

Euro 2016 Betting picks 15 June:

russvkRussia – Slovakia 16:00 villeneuve d’ascq, near Lille 2.30 – 3.05 – 3.35

Slovakia must win this game. If they do not get 3 points from this match, they will need to beat England in their last group stage match and even that might not be enough. Russia will most certainly move to the knockout stages if they win this match. Even if they lose their final match then, they should be through with 4 points. However if they draw against Slovakia, then they must beat Wales in their last match to be sure of through to the knockout stages. They do not want to have a must win game against Gareth Bale.

Slovakia could have beaten Wales but their defense and finishing let them down. Russia deserved the draw against England in the end however it will be interesting thing to see how the potential ban of the games will affect the team.

The history is with Russia as in the last four games that the teams have played, Russia has won 3 (all 1-0) and Slovakia has not been able to score a goal against them in any of those matches. Tonight they will have to find a way to score.

Betting picks:
Both teams to scorer – Odds 2.00

From live betting over 2.5 goals. In the end both teams will try to win the match if the game is tied.

romsuiRomania – Switzerland 19:00 Parc Des Princes, Paris 3.20 – 3.00 – 2.44

This is an interesting match. Our gut says that Romania can win but both teams should be happy with a draw. Romania should qualify with 4 points so a draw here and a win against Albania in the final group stage game might be enough. However would they want to leave it to that?  The Swiss already have beaten Albania so a draw would give them those 4 points.  If Romania can score early then anything can happen but if the game is tied in the final stages of this match, then neither will want to risk too much for a win.

Romania had a very good opening game against the French and a draw would have been justified.  Dimitry Payet had an excellent day and his long range shot made the difference. Switzerland beat Albania in their first game but they were not convincing. They played with a man advantage for the most of the match and they could not score a second goal. Albania was actually closer for an equalizer.

Betting picks:
A draw and under 2.5 goals however a Romania win would not be surprising so keep that in mind for live betting.

fraalbFrance – Albania 22:00 Stade Velodrome, Marseille 1.23 – 5.70 – 14.50

It would be a huge shock if France would not win this game. Albania already had the weakest team coming into this tournament and now they will miss their captain Loirik Cana after his red card in the first match. The question here is not if France will win but with how many goals will they win?

In their opening match France had a tough time against Romania but they got their win in the end. This win will remove some of the pressure and they can play more freely in this match. Albania had a good game against the Swiss but did not get anything to show for it. They deserved to get something but their finishing was below par. They must get something from this game so there should be goals as when France will score their goal, Albania will need to open up and try to score themselves.

Betting Picks:
Over 2.5 goals – Odds 1.80
France to win by at least 2 goals – Odds 1.80
Olivier Giroud to score a goal – Odds 1.825
